I've been playing in cotton quilt batting scraps. I made these grubby ornies yesterday.I cut the heart shapes stitch up with blanket stitch with 6 strands of emb.thread,I spray them with strong cof. stain , dry in the oven on the lowest heat, (have to keep areal close eye on them in the oven)you could air dry.I have several tins of buttons ,I hand sew buttons on , I cut strips of grocery bags and wrote sayings and glue to some of the hearts. Joy,Peace etc. Some I emb. snowflakes on.I love hearts and use them in decorating yr. around some I hang , some I use as bowl fillers. These can be used on the Christmas tree or a valentine tree or just for decorating.
