Pioneer Living

Sometimes I think I was born 100 yr's. too late. lol I enjoy the older ways ,and I try to keep skills , I learned growing up . I Love iron skillets, thats all I use. I enjoy old recipes altho most pioneer type cooking I do I dont have recipes for , or if I do its an egg size of a walnut that sort of thing. If for some reason you were face with having to make do and live as the Pioneers did ,could you do it? When we have Pioneer day or wkend, It still amazes me how much water is wasted daily, and how sad it would be if for some reason one day we were force to live this way, all the folks who would not have the skills to make it.
