Simple Life

Hope everyone is having a Great new year! Did you eat your "New Year Foods?" lol We had pork chops, mixed greens, blackeyed peas, sliced toms. onions, and cornbread.
I am putting away Christmas Decs. etc. and trying to Simplify more and more. This is a good time of yr. to think whats important and whats not ,and weed out the" NOTS!"
Trying to organize each room as I go . Getting rid of clutter, which I have really been on top of the past few yrs.
I hit alot of 50-75% off sales after Christmas.I have next yrs. gifts bought and stored. I have a few things to craft. I shop and craft gifts yr. around ,but thought I'd try this route to see if it works better for me. Have some birthday gifts bought.
I did quite well stockpiling and now cooking from the pantry .There will be a few items to pick up milk etc. I'm not on to work from a list ,mostly mental list. I am thinking of a menu list each wk. to see if it works better for me. I tend to think ahead a few days for meal planning .
Of course there is always the budget to work on . I try hard to stick with a budget.
I want to Spring clean and organize each room. These bitter cold days are good days to stay in and clean!
What are you working on to make life more Simple for you?
Hope you have a warm ,cozy,Simple day!
Blessins',Lib

Hi Lib ~ I'm working on a new list and checking it twice. New goals , new to do list for 2010 , of course decluttering is always on my list , since I'm a pack rat by nature (LOL).

Happy New Year to you and yours, dear Lib! I do hope that 2010 brings you nothing but the best:-) I've finally got all my Christmas decorations put away so now I have time for the computer again. I really missed blogging and visiting during the holidays but now I'm back!!!

I've also been decluttering as I put away the Christmas decorations, already have a couple of boxes to bring to the charity centre:-) xoxo

Miss Lib...YOU'RE BACK! I wish you had mentioned it in your Christmas Card, sweetie, I would have been by much sooner!

Nope...I didn't get to eat any New Year's food...I've been too sick...come visit with me when you get a chance.

Love&Hugs,
Tammy

that sounds so good:

"Hope you have a warm ,cozy,Simple day!"

As the wind is howling outside. Shame I will have to go out and bring in logs for the fireplace and empty the ashes.

Its a hibernating day here as well!!
