It's Time to..........

Rise and Shine. The past few days has been so cold, all I wanted to do was nest in. To keep busy I've been stitching. Kids coloring pages are a great way of getting simple patterns. I found the rooster and printed off, I taped it to the storm door, traced the pattern onto my fabric and started stitch. You can use a light box or tracing paper but I go this route. Easy and simple to do.
I have several patterns to iron on I want to stitch after the holidays .
Hope everyone has a warm and cozy weekend.

Hi Lib,
I just love your embroidered rooster tea towel!!!! When you trace on the screen door to get the pattern, what kind of pencil do you use? Nicely done. Nancy

Love the rooster and your method of transfering it , I'll have to try that sometime.

that is so cute. Can you use them like a normal tea towel, or are they just for show?

Hello Lib
Have used the window tracing method many times - mainly because I don't have a light box but also because I can see the pattern more easily that way (standing in front of it rather thn peering down on it and I can tape the material to the window and use both hands.
Take care
Cathy
